Default river play

PP $5/10 6 handed
On a previous hand, button cold called 3 bets in the sb with QTo. He hit top pair and led out, was raised and called down.


button open limps
SB folds
Hero checks with K8o (Hero normally raises but this was this morning before work and I must have been sleepy)

4 sb 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks
Villian bets
Hero raises
Villian calls

3 bb T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets
Villian calls

5 bb J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero ???? 1) check folds 2) check calls 3) bets folds

doesnt sound like hed bluff a draw that often, so bet

i lead the flop too, bad players take a free card here way too often

I don't know if this was a great line to take against a suspected calling station. By check-raising the flop you're kind of tying him to the pot since he's allready put a bet in, (at least, that's how they rationalise it.)I like to just lead out in this situation.

So he does. I thought he had K9 for some strange reason. He's probably got a 4. Bet the river.
