Default totals--making the switch

I am planning to get out of sports betting awhile. When the NBA starts up, I plan to focus on totals only.

Any suggestions?

NBA totals are hard to cap, IMO, simply because each # is only worth a small % in value relative to a sport like baseball or hockey. Even if the total is o/u 188 and you think the real line is 187, your edge on an under is miniscule.

My advice is to have money available at a lot of books, that way you have a better shot at getting a 1/2 point better than the market line, or perhaps reduced vig. Sports betting is about finding a good number more often than not, so having a lot of outs available is an advantage.
