Default Super System 2 - Only to players at DoylesRoom.com Poker

There is a thread by Razzo on RGP saying that Doyle is opening a new cardroom and that SS2 will only be distributed to registered players untill there is no more demamd, then it will be released to the general public.

It's supposed to be up in a month, but the domain is still parked so to me that seems unlikely.

You can pre-order the book on Amazon, doesn't sound like that's limiting supply to me.

According to the thread, once the demand for the book at DoylesRoom has dried up, then they will begin to release it to the general public, bookstores etc... You can preorder almost anything at Amazon, notice there is no release date mentioned... There was something mentioned in one of the posts that was vague and a little confusing, but did say they would honor preorders.....

I can't imagine Amazon would allow pre-orders if they don't have some sort of a contractual agreement that they'll receive books to fill the orders. I'm speculating on that.

The picture of the cover on Amazon has the list of contributors, which includes "Danny Niegro". I'm assuming that's supposed to be Daniel Negreanu. Hope they didn't send it to print yet.

I've pre-ordered stuff from Amazon that never went to distribution at all. For instance the DVD's for the IFC series "Split Screen" (FYI, It contains an episode on Rounders and the WSOP and one on Kevin Smith and "Clerks").

They still list the product on the site even though it never was produced or released. They even have the cover:

Split Screen

So I wouldnt put much credence in the fact that the book is available to order at Amazon.
