Default Any \"pros\" here ONLY play live?

Just wondering if there were any players here that played for a living but only played in B&M. Or possibly played mostly B&M with only a small portion of their playing being on the internet.

If so, why do you play more live than online? Do you just like it better? Want to avoid burnout? Scared of bots? Think you win just as much since you can play higher live? Any other thoughts you wanna post about it?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Used to play pro - only at FW.

Just started online in July (now like a PT job).
Much easier for those of us with a family and
who live in Mass (2 hour drive). You can
actually play 2/4 online and beat it, wheras
it is nearly impossible with tokes and rake
and expenses @ B&M.

I really miss live poker though; I love the
people, the arguments, the angle-shoots,
the antics, and oh yes...the CHIPS!!

Good Luck

Wow yes that would be tough. Luckily I live in Los Angeles so I have a wealth of casinos to go to. Although sometimes with traffic sometimes it'll take me nearly 2 hours to get to some casinos.

And although you play less hands, live poker actually seems more entertaining and less boring to me. People yelling and all the different personalities. I've even begun to make more "friends" at the tables now that people are starting to recognize me.

I think he was saying he plays 2/4 online part-time now. I'm assuming he played higher when he commuted to FW for a living, but he never said exactly what limit he played.

Mostly B&M.

Live rocks!

Though online is a nice change of pace at times. I like to use it to keep me up on tougher games. Also for tourneys and stuff which I don't really play live.

I think I'd make much more online. Burnout can happen just as easily for both. The swings are quite a bit longer live, and that can really wear on you. A 20k hand bad/breakeven run is a lot longer live than online.

But both online and live can compliment each other.

I have way more fun playing live - online just isn't really a good time for me. I might make more money playing online, but then again...I'm probably better off playing the 20/40 at Hollywood Park then four-tabling the 5/10 on Stars. JMO.

I only play live these days. I enjoy live poker and don't enjoy online poker (at least not being a multitabler). I moved to Cali so that I could only play live, when I lived in Seattle I felt like I had to do a mix.

I could probably make more money online theoretically (but not practically because I have a tough time putting up with things that my heart is not in)
