well definitely try 1024x768 instead of 1280x1024. as far as font changes go, it's just a drop-down box, nothing drastic. it will still impact things even if you don't drill into specific apps for changes.
the 2nd monitor thing is just your external output. it allows you to use your laptop screen as monitor 1 and the external output (either via a standard monitor out or svideo) as monitor 2. glad the hard drive worked out well. |

1024x768 is massive -- the icons remind me of the enlarged world in Super Mario Brothers 3.
I can put in the "extra large" fonts for 1600x1200 but it doesn't solve the fact that 1280x1024 is blurry. I need to research a bit more. |

mine is blurry at the default 75 refresh rate but not at the 60 refresh rate. lcd.

I also had to walk five miles to school through three feet of snow and it was uphill both ways. Sorry, I just turned 50 and can't help lapsing into old fart mode. |
