Easy call. Short stack could be pushing with a very wide range of hands which you're an easy favorite over. MP could just be protecting his hand and since he's also pretty shortstacked could be on a wide range of hands. You're becoming short stacked and need to accumulate chips. Even if you lose to the short stack, you net chips as long as you beat the MP.

Thanks for your comments Lloyd. I agree the results were irrelevant. Coincidentally, I busted out on the bubble when I was short stacked and was forced to call two all-ins with 6-6. I would have much rather put my chips in with QQ.

I'm going to have a hard time laying down QQ preflop with less than 20 BB remaining. Especially here where the shortstack's range is massive and the other player is often looking for isolation vs the short stack with something like AJ, KQ or 77-TT.
