Default Should Wintermute be banned?

Being an arch enemy of the stormtrooper, I couldn't help but be delighted that he was banned from this site a few days ago. Now we can read ATE's and Ribbo's advice without having to sift through a bunch of posts about how they are all completely wrong. But then I remembered his girlfriend...

So, I'm undecided. Should Wintermute continue to be banned from this site?

I must have missed this, having been out of town for a few days. What happened? Is there a link out there with more info???

Apparently, in the "other topics" forum, he ranted about how he hated women because some strippers coerced him to blow $1k in a night. That's what did it.

Oh, I should also say that I have no power to do anything about anything.

Wintermute offered good solid advice on playing better poker.

This site is not better off without him contributing.

It's summer, he shouldn't be muted.

He can have another alias, like Summermute.

Yes he did, he was the best short handed PLO8 player on party and probably the best short handed PLO8 player that will ever post on this forum as anyone that is better than him would not reveal his secrets. Yes he was somewhat of a jerk at times, but we are all jerks at some point and we all have views on some topics that would undoubtedly make some cringe, but still he was good and his advice was usually solid.

Now we can read ATE's

[/ QUOTE ]

Also ATE for advice? Hes a good player, but if I wanted limit advice I would listen to buzz also I can never understand what he is saying, and I read ATE's posts like 7 times, but I just cant make sense of his grammar.

and Ribbo's

[/ QUOTE ]

Ribbo is an ok player, but one person doesnt have all the answers we need more people.

Still I dont have all the answer, ribbo doesnt have all the answers, ATE doesnt have all the answers, no one has all the answers, the only way to get the best answer to any hand in question is to discuss it with as many good players as possible, so losing wintermute was a big loss because he was the only short handed specialist on this board.

I agree with this. He might not have passed the Dale Carnegie course, but his PLO8 posts were very good reading.

It's okay, he probably did it deliberately, about 3 weeks ago I told him about my intentions on upgrading my website to have a private forum just for plo8 strat since neither of us read the forums for anything else. He said he was interested so hopefully the guy upgrading my site should have it polished off soon. Makes sense that discussing certain topics in an open forum isn't good for business. If you want to read his rant anyway you can visit his livejournal http://www.livejournal.com/users/wintermute_ca/
