Alcohol Potluck Party

Some friends of mine are hosting an Alcohol putluck party. It is a formal dress but many of the people going are college students so who knows what kinds of drinks people are bringing.

My question is what should I consider to bring to this party. I am not overly concerned with price and I am open to all suggestions.

I would not bring a nice scotch, as it will likely go completely unappreciated by well over half the crowd (assuming even male/female split). A decent-nice bottle of wine or two would be a better choice.

How many people will be there?

scotch is no good for this type of thing. most people don't like it. this has a cool bottle, isn't too pricey, and most people like vodka

I believe around 35 people will be at the party. Maybe upwards of 50. Nothing too big.
