I've been to one of their concerts. The crowd was a weird mixture of hicks and stoners, but it was a good show.

I know their music fairly well, trying to get some more knowledge of all their songs before the concert and no, you don't need to ask that question. I bet about 75 percent of the people at their concert are(could be wrong)

Where are you seeing them by the way

They put on a great show - Warren Haynes and Derrick Trucks are 2 of the nastiest guitarists in rock + roll today. They usually do a crazy "dueling guitars" solo which is one of the highlights of the show. Of course you also have Gregg Allman with the best blues voice any white man has ever had...

AND you (presumably) have the pleasure of Moe. opening up for them too!

What show are you seeing? I will be at the Mansfield, MA show on Aug. 20.

Cool. If you know the music on the Beacon dvd and their recent album, then you should be good. Hopefully they'll cover some old stuff like franklin's towers, etc.

I'm seeing them up in MA on august 20th. Moe's opening, so it should be a great night of music.

nice dude, that's where i'm seeing them as well. i'm taking my youngest brother (15) who can play guitar like you wouldn't believe...duane has been his biggest influence, and if you heard the licks he pulls off when soloing, you'd recognize it right away...

they've been a little hit or miss with me. Their show at Bonnaroo was excellent, but i was slightly disappointed with their set when they came to DC. Overall though i'd much rather have them open than a lot of other bands...
