wow you guys were right about pocket pairs....NOT!!!!

Ok, this is for you tree-hugging, death penalty hating, yet abortion supporting, Kerry fan, Socialist, Commie, Democrats who told me yesterday that pocket pairs were omgtbtitw (Oh My God The Best Things In The World).

So I am in another $.50+.10 sit n go on AP, blinds are 50/75. I am dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] one seat before the button.... I raise to 3 TIMES the BB, because all of you "Demoncats" told me to raise more than the one minimum I did yesterday. everyone folds except for the BB, who calls, his stack is 4750, mine is 1700, flop is 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I make a set, he bets 400, I am like "Thank you John Smith" (because I am a Republican and a Mormon) so I call his ass, turn is 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he checks. Now I know I have it. I bet 300, he pushes me all in. I am like, "I totally have this!" so I call him, I am all in. I type in the text box, "You just made the biggest mistake of your life kid." The river is J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]........

He tables J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]....(he has a flush of flowers)
that fish sucked out out on me.....thanks for all the great advice on how great pocket pairs were, you fishes...
