Learn how to spot counterfeit bills. Large-faced hundreds are unlikely to be counterfeit. If it's a new bill, hold it to the light...look for Mr. Franklin's reflection in the upper right and a strip that says "USA 100 USA 100" on the left. Make sure the serial numbers match. If all these are in place, you don't have a counterfeit bill.

Jeffage, thats hardly foolproof. There are fakes that can pass even that ammount of scrutiny. Although it will weed out the majority of them. However doing this when cashing out a couple dimes is quite impractical.

If a fake passes that amount of scrutiny, I won't have any problem spending it.

If your "fake" bill has a water mark that looks good..it probably isn't a fake. I was under the belief that the watermark is pretty hard to counterfit and would rule out about 99.99999% of counterfit bills.

Yes, an 18 yo is certainly capable of deciding whether to enlist and kill people or be killed, but 4-8 poker? Much more dangerous to society.

Don't rely on security to card the players, do so yourself if you are the supervisor.

I'm not sure what the law is elsewhere. But here in CO, any casino employee is obligated to card anyone suspected of being underage or looking underage. Supervisors, dealers, wait staff, cage, etc. Everyone. It was repeatedly pounded into our heads at orientation.

I know two dealers who have been canned for underage players being carded at their tables by CO Div. of Gaming. Therefore, I say "Stay the hell out until you are 21!"

Default We found one today too.

A fake $50 was discovered by our TD when a guy tried to buy into a tourney tonight. I guess there are plenty of them around.
