Default Hotels near Turningstone

Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay close to Turningstone (the closer the better)?

Thanks

Stay at Turning Stone.

Doesn't get any closer than that.

I think you can get a decent poker rate, I think it is something like $80 on weekdays, not sure about that though so you might want to check on it.

I think just staying at TStone is your best bet.

Cornell is right, the poker rate at TStone is $80 per night. To get it, you have to reserve your room in advance. Call the front desk to reserve your room and ask for the poker rate when you reserve it.

Then after a few hours of playing, you go to the poker room desk, and they will give you a slip that you use when you check in.

There are a number of motels nearby (try expedia and travelocity) but you are maybe going to save 10 bucks per night. The ten bucks is more than worth it to stay in the casino itself.

Your choices are limited. There is another hotel that looks relatively decent about 1 mile away on rt 365. Get of the Thruway (Rt 90) and take Rt 365 towards Rome. You will see the hotel on your left. Take a left onto Rt 31 at the light and take your next left (after about 100') and the hotel entrance is somewhere in there. Like most everything in Verona, it is also owned by the Indians. I can't remember the name of it but I think it's _______ Stone (in keep with the whole "stone" theme). Since it's owned by the Indians, you can probably call the casino and at least get a phone number. I have no idea on rates but it might be cheaper.

I was told that there was a nearby motel that gives poker players a rate of $45/night. I could be wrong though.

On a different note, do they give discount rates if you book a room for multiple days...say, a week? I wouldn't think so but it would be nice if they did.

There's a Super 8 five minutes away that's not awful, which is where I stayed last time. Next time I go, though, I'm going to just take the poker rate at the casino.

I stayed in the super 8 one night when there was a tournament series and all the hotel rooms were booked. I think it was the same price as the poker rate though so u might as well stay at the casino
