Default Vegas in June

I am going out to Vegas for my 21st birthday. I have been there numerous times (all before I was 21 which sucked) so I have seen the sights and what not. I am going for poker, poker, and more poker. I am wondering if as a result of the WSOP, is competition going to be tougher at the lower limits ($3-6, 4-8) than they would normally be any other time of the year? I am a winning player online (~3BB/100), so I feel confident that I have the skills. Just looking for a little insight.
P.S. If anybody has any recommendations on where to stay for the best poker any help would be much appreciated.

There will always be good low-limit games.

I played at the shoe last year while some of the WSOP events were going on. LL games were plenty soft, but the softest was at the Bellagio.
