Default 3 Quads in 1000 hands

I got quads 3 times tonight on 1000 hands even.

what are the odds of getting 3 or more quads in 1000 hands

(any way, I flopped them twice, and caught them on the river once)

I think this was a 6 handed table in holdem.
Player A raises
I call.

flop came a pair plus another card--he eventually bet and I folded he showed his flopped quads.

Very next hand
I raise
Player A (yeah the same one) calls
I flopped quads but unfortunately didn't get anything from them.

I wonder what are the odds of only two players in consecutive hands one of whom has flopped quads. (first you've got the odds that only 2 get a hand to play... then the odds that one has a pair, then quads, etc etc etc...)

[go ahead and answer the easier one stats gurus ]

Yesterday I had AQ three times in a row, in the first hand I flopped an A and won, in the second I flopped a Q and won and in the third I flopped AQ and lost all back to a guy who held AA. Can someone calculate the odds for this?

i think my most amazing is seeing 4 straight flushes in ~250 hands

i only had one of them, but it went: straight flush, another one right after (!)...but this one was on the board, then 80 hands later saw a royal, and then another 170 hands another one

Probability that you'll get 3 or more quads in 1000 hands, including quads on board:

=1-BINOMDIST(3,1000,13 * COMBIN(48,3)/COMBIN(52,7),TRUE) or about 9%.

Alternatively:

=BINOMDIST(996,1000,1 - (13 * COMBIN(48,3)/COMBIN(52,7)),TRUE)

Probability of A-Q three hands in a row is simply:

[16/C(52,2)]^3 or ~.000176%
