Default Stocks-Poker-Taxes

If I owe taxes on 25K of poker income but have a carry over loss in the stock market of 25K, can these offset ?

Hoping we have a tax guy around [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

No, but the good news is you can use them $3K/year and carry them forward indefinately until they are used up.
