Scanner problem....Can you help?

Hi,

I just hooked up my scanner that I havent used in about 6 months. Now when I scan something, half of the screen and the background has a yellow haze or something.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

yello haze, i take it the scanner is color? What Model? have you checked their site for help? Have you called their tech support?

2 possible issues off hand:
1) clean the screen
2) the bulb has gone bad
