Title: Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi Doubles Up Through Layne Flack
Log: Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Layne Flack push all their chips into the pot after a flop of Jh-10h-10d. Flack shows As-Jc, but Mizrachi shows pocket kings (Kh-Kc). Flack needs to catch a jack, an ace, or a runner-runner straight to eliminate Mizrachi. The turn card is the 9s, and Flack is down to five outs. The river card is the Qh, and Michael Mizrachi doubles up in a huge pot.

Gavin Griffin Eliminated

With the board showing K-5-2-2-4 with four diamonds, Gavin Griffin and Hunter Tappas get all of their money in the middle. Tappas showed Ad-Kd for the ace high flush. After seeing the ace of diamonds, Griffin mucked his hand. Griffin started the hand with $87,000 in chips, and lost it all to Tappas' flush. Gavin Griffin is eliminated early in Level 11.

From Gutshot, Gus pushes with 99, player with JJ calls, board doesn't help either player.

I was surprised to learn that Gus was still in it because I saw him at the Bellagio playing in the big-game until 1a or 2a last night (with Chan and Chia Xiang and one or two others who I didn't recognize).

I would think that ANYONE playing in day 2 would sack-out a little earlier...but I guess this stuff is all old-hat for these guys pretty much.
Maybe the other players in the game were to fishy for him to leave or maybe he had already slept and then decided to head down because he was up anyway. No idea.
Just thought it was interesting that someone would play relatively late the night before day 2 of the WSOP.

Gus and Chau love play pokah.

Default Paying 560 is dumb

9 handed, should be 558. They're gonna have fun trying to figure this one out, although 558 is no picnic either, esp. at 2am....

Sorry if this got mentioned before.

Robert and Olga to become the first husband and wife to win Championship bracelets?

And YES, this is 2002 winner Robert Varkonyi's wife, BTW. It isn't just a coincidence.
