poll: Scottrade v. Firstrade
I've never personally used Scottrade, does either have any obvious disadvantage in comparision to the other?

Re: poll: Scottrade v. Firstrade
I like Scottrade because it has S&P stock research.
Others may as well, I don't know. |

What about BuyandHold or Sharebuilder? Sarge[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] Sharebuilder nails you for $15.95 on the sell side. Scottrade is $7 both ends. Depending on how you want to trade will tell you which is more cost effective. I like both of them. |

Re: poll: Scottrade v. Firstrade
For low volume investors, almost any of the major online brokers will do. Pick one that provides the extras that you are looking for, and an interface that you are comfortable with.
For high volume traders, you need a direct access broker like Tradestation, CyberTrader, Interactive Brokers, etc. |

Is there an online broker that gives free access to ValueLine?
