Default Pokertracker database size - What is the max.???

Was curious how big the databases can be these days for Pokertracker. What's a good rule-of-thumb to stop adding to a Db and starting a new one?

thanks,
pal

to tell you the truth, i dont really know what im talking about here or what an SQL database is, but your pokertracker database will be PTrack.mbd in your pokertracker folder, and i know the max size for it is 2 GB, if you have more than one database, they will be PTrack2.mbd, etc.

newhizzle,
SQL is an alternative to Access. PT added support over the summer. the way SQL is set up the DB is not just one file.

while access had a max limit for file size, i think it was 4gigs. SQL doeasn't have a max u can't pass. however in both cases lots of data does cause lag, so breaking them up is still a good idea.
