Villain is aggressive, but not too loose.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

Turn: (5.20 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (5.20 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

especially now that the king paired. he will fold two random cards a lot more IMO. oh and its more likely that you're ahead.

During the hand, I worried about paying 2BB on the turn when the K is a very likely defending hand for my opponent and I have many outs. Inducing a bluff on the river when I miss is nice too.

Now, I think you both are right. My hand is really vulnerable, and BB isn't raising the turn very often. A bet doesn't allow a free card for overcards and straight/flush draws either. I'd rather make this check with a pair that doesn't rate to be outdrawn so often.

I like it becuase you can gain extra bets when you do hit the flush.
