Default I am not a fan of AQ

Stats indicate that this player is tight and very aggressive, but I don't have any specific notes on him.

this is so wacky to me. i would have played this much differently. but first let me ask, why the fold on the river?

because hero can only beat a bluff, and this river raise is rarely a bluff.

i think your line was fine. i might lead the turn some percentage of the time, but your line has the advantage of clarity. what is bothering you about this hand?

Lead/CR turn(mostly CR), muck river.

If I checkraise the turn, I can't see any hand I beat calling. I think leading the turn would probably be better.

I like CR'ing the turn here beacuse i normally bluff CR turn in shorthanded situations frequently so i would do this to balance it out. But leading is fine too.

I'm just curious... what range of hands do you expect him to call you with on the river? One of the problems I've encountered when moving up in stakes is that when I try to act a little weak to get called by weaker hands, what actually ends up happening is that I face a lot of raises (or folds).

Could you explain the reasoning for this line, and why you think villain has AQ beat? You say UTG is tight & aggressive -- what does he raise w/ preflop from UTG? Unless he would raise UTG with 77 (likely to do this shorthanded?), you're really only worried about AA and KK (QQ is also possible, but unlikely), correct? would AA / KK raise the river (if TPTK will fold to this raise, what would call except hands that beat AA or KK?), especially since your betting doesn't rule out you holding 5h6h.

If AA / KK raise the river, what about AQ, KQ, JJ, 10-10 (i.e., does villain have any reason to figure you for a queen?)? What hands would raise the river, and what hands would just call?

I'm probably a sucker and would have paid villain off here, but I'm not convinced he has me beat enough of the time to make a fold correct. Have I missed anything here?
