Can I fold AK?

Generally, does god kill a lot of kittens when I fold AK?

I was in BB with AK, blinds were 150/300. MP player raised for 900ish. LP player went all in for 5,5k. My stack was 7k, MP stack was 2,5k ish. I folded.

140 players left, 70 players paid.

I bet he didn't have AA or KK, but I figured he might have AK, maybe AQ or another lower PP like QQ-TT.

if you bet he doesn't have AA or KK... this makes AK an insta call, given that you put weaker Aces into his mix.

Can't say I have much of a read on him. But wouldn't he raise a little less if he had AA-KK?

You'd call this if you knew he had QQ?

in a shot, if you (as you said in the origional post) put him on AK/AQ or a lower pair.

If you rule out AA or KK... the absolute worst you can ever be is a small dog.

LP only has 18xBB. I don't think the money is deep enough to fold AK.

Why did you think LP didn't have KK or AA?

I prefer a call, but I am ok with a fold. Was it suited?

No particular reason, just I would have found it an extremely weird way to play AA-KK. A smaller reraise would have scared me more actually.
