Limp-reraise from a guy with 40/0 stats? Can this really be QQ? I think you are splitting or in big trouble here. Is this a laydown preflop?

Pity you didn't have a few more hands for your stats - if this guy was really only a few percent raiser, you have to consider laying this down.

Paying $20 for the chance of hitting the set, you have to be certain he will pay you off his whole stack when you hit. You're right though - he probably can't get away post flop.

Well, now I've correctly called preflop, I think I would certainly fold if bet to on any non-king flop. It would be odd if he checked to you. I'd probably check behind.

A raise from your right is either a re-raise or fold. The 5-10 % rule by Ciaffone would indicate a clear fold.So without clear tells etc.,I would be inclined to fold.

5/10 rule is that you should call a raise with speculative hands if the price is less that 5% of your opponents stack (or your stack if you do not cover). You should fold if price is greater than 10%.

In this case, the price is almost exactly 10% of what we stand to win if we stack the opponent. This is a special case though - we are not trying to spike a set against a raiser who might have a mediocre hand and so might not pay us off when we hit; we can be unusually confident here that we will get paid off.

In fact, we need only 7:1 for a set, and if we stack villain we are getting 10:1, so we actually only need to stack villain two times of each three we hit a set to make the call +EV. Sounds likely.
