Re: Colorado Poker
1-5 Spread in Blackhawk. You're better off using a laptop and playing online if you ask me. But if it must be live, 1-5 spread or 5/5 are your only choices at either the Gilpin, Mountain High, or the Lodge in Blackhawk.

Re: Colorado Poker
there are at least 2 or 3 clubs in denver. the one i go to generally has 1/2, 2/5, and 5/10 blinds nlhe. i haven't been to any others, so i have no idea what the action is like at those. i agree with the other poster about blackhawk and central city...don't bother, just play online.

Re: Colorado Poker
Black Hawk/Central City are about a 45 minute drive from Denver. Here are the casinos with poker:
Gilpin : I work here, so I'm biased. 2/4, 2/5 and 5/5 hold em, 2/4 stud and 5/5 Omaha. Daily tourneys and sit and goes all day. Colorado Central Station : 2/5 and 5/5 hold em. Omaha on Thursday nights. Some tourneys. Check their web site for tourney schedule . The Lodge : 2/5 and 5/5 hold em. The 5/5 game here is pretty wild. Mountain High : 2/5 and 5/5 hold em. Some tourneys, but I'm not sure of the schedule. Fortune Valley : 2/5 and 5/5 hold em. $50 tourneys on Mondays and Thursdays. Stud sometimes. |

Re: Colorado Poker
Heres the deal. I leave Phoenix Thurday or Friday. I am going to play in New Mexico On Thursday. Leave and Play Denver Friday night and Saturday. I start work in Wyoming on the 7th. So I will figured I would met a few 2+2er's and donk it up a bit.
Or I can drive to WY not play poker on the way, drop my [censored] off and go to deadwood. |

Re: Colorado Poker classic
Five-time Poker Champ, David Chiu, can attest to that. "It's a world-class room, dealing poker the way it should be," he says.

Re: Colorado Poker
Gilpin - nice room spreading 2/4, 2/5, 1-2-5-5. Nice room but I don't like it. Newest room in town and the dealers show it - atleast most a few are good.
Lodge - 2/5 and 5/5 but watch out for the 5/5 game. It is Bingo at its best. Capped all the way to the river on occations and rumors of teams playing together. 2/5 is very fishy. Mountain High - ok room 2/5 and some 5/5 - haven't been here in months. Central Station - this is my fav room now. dealers arent' the best but pretty good for the most part. They seem to get some fish from the Isle now that they are fully connected with walkways. 2/5 and 3/5 with tournaments and some Omaha if enough interest. If they spread Omaha - play. 90% of the players don't know what they are doing - the other 10% you just stay away from and you will easily know who those are. Fortune VAlley - haven't played there in months so I won't comment |

I start work in Wyoming on the 7th. [/ QUOTE ] Dude I am so sorry for you. Where are you working? If you are in Casper I would go to Deadwood for the spread limit games, but watch the road, lots and lots of deer to jump out in front of you. Denver is a easy drive down I-25 so if you find a game you like there, go back down south. Hope this is not a long term thing... Wyoming a nice place to visit (from a native). |

Re: Colorado Poker
There is no need to go to these casinos with all the underground clubs that spread real game around town. Also they are very soft for the most part. Shoot me an email.
