You have much to learn, and coming from me... big insult.

Tripling the flop bet is possibly the worst move I could make other than folding to his reraise.

Because he wants to get some money in with a very strong but vulnerable hand against an SB who likes his hand? Or because his LAG image raises won't be respected and he might get played back at with worse holdings?

I don't know if I'd necessarily triple the bet but it's not one of the worst moves you could make.

I would probably make it $100 total first time around.

If I just called, I would make it $180 total second time around.

You would never call her on the flop though would you? As soon as I called I recognized my mistake when button min-raised, but I felt like 3-betting the flop would be digging myself a hole. Although, since most people believe I should be getting my money in here ASAP I guess it's not that bad, but cold-call-3-bet is showing an awful lot of strength and I'd reeally hate getting 4-bet here, wouldn't I?

Edit: And I assume you think river check is ok, or do you bet here for value? I didn't think one-pair hands would be calling my turn bet, and those two pair hands beat me on the river.

I can't imagine ever just calling the $20 here. I actually think the call-threebet line looks pretty goofy and would expect at least one, if not both of them to call. Worry about getting 4-bet if and when that happens. But don't worry too much.

As you played it I pot the turn and stick the rest in on a blank river. In this case the river is a great card to throw out $350 or so on. You almost certainly would have heard from 2pr earlier.

Did he mean raise to 120? I just got that. Anyway, that's still awful. If I'm raising I'm raising to 200 straight. (Or 180 )

No.

I'll triple initial bet on flop (60).

He meant raise the initial bet to 60.
