I can't wait until the razors are the size of our face. Seriously, how many blades can you have before it just doesn't make a difference anymore?

Way back in the early days of SNL, when 2 blade razors were becoming popular. they ran a spoof ad for the "triple track" three blade razor and a bogus explanation of why three blade were better than two. The last line was "Triple track, because you'll believe anything.".

I guess truth is stranger than fiction.

[/ QUOTE ]

I still remember that commercial. That was a great one. It was played totally straight and looked very professionally done. Real earnest. The guy's disgusted delivery of the last line was really golden. It's hilarious that what was considered idiotic back then is taken for granted now.

Do you use these? Testimonial, please.

[/ QUOTE ]

they're great and it's not like they're expensive or anything, a pack of four is $12.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah I saw that. So they actually last substantially longer than normal blades?

[/ QUOTE ]'

usually 2-3x as long./

[/ QUOTE ]

Does the little gel strip last 2-3x as long? Because if it doesn't who really cares, you're face is gonna be super irritated without it even if the blades work.

People still use blades?

I thought everyone had discovered that a good electric is 10x better.

[/ QUOTE ]

i had a really good electric, but after a while i developed some really itchy bumps under my chin. a dermatologist said it was because of the razor, as the most expensive ones cut it so close, you eventually develop ingrown hairs. he recommended single blade BIC. the bumps were gone in 2 weeks.

[/ QUOTE ]

A lot, a WHOLE lot, of people, grind electric razors into their faces and have all kinds of problems because of it. This is the kind of thing that could easily get you ingrown hairs, too.

But just running the thing lighter on your face can probably get you by without that problem. Three light passes is better than one or two grinds and holds.

ouch. the worst blade. ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

Single BIC + shower = best shave ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

ANY blade, or waterproof electric, in the shower is the best shave ever.

Nothing special about the BIC there. And the BIC's did stink.

the gel strips only last like 3 shaves anyway. I've shaved with one, including my head, for over a month, with no problems.

Bahhh!!! How come no one has any comments on the "6th blade" on this Gilette Fusion? Didnt anyone read that it features a trimmer in the back that lets you deal with moustaches and beards?
