Ann Coulter Shouted Down by \"Nazis\" at University of Connecticut
Bill O'Reilly went on call these "left-wing zealots" nazis. Funny how those on the right get offended when Bush is compared to Hitler. Invading third-world countries is more in line with acting like a Nazi than simply shouting "You suck" at someone. In fact O'Reilly's gross over-reaction is more in line with acting like a Nazi.
Ann Coulter has absolutely no class and is blatently rude to people, and O'Reilly is outraged when students don't treat her respect. Bill, I'll give you a hint why they don't treat her with respect, because she doesn't deserve it. |

Bill, I'll give you a hint why they don't treat her with respect, because she doesn't deserve it. [/ QUOTE ] If you aren't prepared to give her the common decency of allowing an invited speaker to speak, don't invite her in the first place. It's childish an immature to try to shout her down when she was an invited speaker. |

Re: Ann Coulter Shouted Down by \"Nazis\" at University of Connecticut
It's funny because they give her more publicity now than if they didn't do anything at all. Is there any news story if 15 people show up to see her? I've never understood why people make such a big deal out of someone speaking. Whenever the KKK comes to town (no way comparing them to Ann Coulter), you get 1500 protestors, and a news story.
And I agree, the best thing you can do to someone who disagrees with you is to let them speak and make a fool of themselves. Oh wait, because you don't trust people to have the ability of making up their own mind. |

Re: Ann Coulter Shouted Down by \"Nazis\" at University of Connecticut
I was there at the speech and to be fair they let her speak for about 15 minutes before she started bashing homosexuals and calling liberals stupid in 20 different ways, i wasn't one that did start booing but i understand those that did, they gave her a chance and she confirmed everything bad taht was said about her. all she did was one liners about liberals ( which were funny actually) and bashing certain groups. When it was Q and A it was hilarous how good at not answering questions she is. It was pretty funny and worth the 16k.

Did anybody ask her about her emaciated facial features?

You folks realize that these "Nazis" paid for the privilege of heckling Coulter. Likewise, Coulter was able to dab away her tears with the $16K she was paid.
Just another night at the circus, if you ask me. |

Heckling a political speech should be an art form.

Fat, wet whistles
[ QUOTE ]
Heckling a political speech should be an art form. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, heckling is alright. Preventing the guy (or gal) from speaking is not. It just provides them with that much more (and usually undeserved) publicity, if not sympathy. But heckling the hell outta the speaker is alright. |

Re: Fat, wet whistles

But heckling the hell outta the speaker is alright. [/ QUOTE ] No, it isn't. It's a low form of activity, engaged in by inferior-minded and incredibly rude and inconsiderate persons. Persons who were obviously raised in a barn, or in the hills or backwoods in an inbred colony, or something like that. It's NOT alright to be a complete jerk. A person may have the "right" to be a total jerk, but that doesn't make it "alright." |
