Re: AA played too passive?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Definitely raising the turn..and I don't think raising the flop gets rid of that many hands. Any pp still calls, and AK may very well call too. [/ QUOTE ] If those hands are calling on the flop then we should definately raise the flop, for the record I dont think they are, and thats why I think we SHOULDNT raise the flop. [/ QUOTE ] these kind of seemingly standard handposts really help fix leaks that i have. thanks everyone. |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree on the flop raise. I think it is WA/WB. Worse hands fold and SOMETIMES WB call (PPs, etc). If there were, say, a 2 flush board, then I would probobly raise. |

Re: AA played too passive?
Just to clarify, I wouldn't raise the turn most of the time, but I wouldn't completely rule it out

Re: AA played too passive?
I like it except bet river or raise turn. A flop raise is probably only called by better hands, and turn raise looks like slowplayed trips, so if you wanna play safe I'd halfpot river, won't lose much vs trips and you get called by alot

Re: AA played too passive?
Looking at stack sizes, I like to raise the turn here.
If you're WA you may get a call, and he may have a draw you are letting in cheaply if you just call. If you are WB you are not saving any money by calling the turn as he will put in his last $8 on the river. |

Re: AA played too passive?
this is a 3/4 pot raise on the turn imo. he doesnt have enough for you to fold either. jam it up

Re: AA played too passive?
not a chance. too many hands will get away that you want in. hopefully the turn helped him enough to where hes drawing verrrry thin and shoves them in.
