Preflop stuff #3
You are on the button.
UTG raises. It is folded around up to you. You do not have a great hand. Are the following statements true in all situations: You are more inclined to play your when... A) The raiser opens with a wide range B) The blinds are tight C) The raiser will often give up on the flop D) Villain is passive postflop ... that's all I came up with Please specify which statements aren't _always_ true and why. If you come up with more true statements then feel free to add them to the list for discussion. |

Re: Preflop stuff #3
Its going to be hard to find an utg raiser than plays passive postflop.
Heres another one: E) I am more inclined to play when my opponent plays in such a way that gives away his hole cards. |

As for conditions C) and D), you've run into a rare player. Are you thinking about pulling moves on him hoping he'll fold overs? That can get expensive. Also, condition B) isn't always true. |

[/ QUOTE ] I meant stuff like A9o... maybe JTs. [ QUOTE ] Also, condition B) isn't always true. [/ QUOTE ] When is it false? When they are very very loose and you play a hand that is good multiway, ex JTs? Is it even false when you hold A9o when they are extremly loose callers? (uncommon) |
