Default QQ, all spade board, on the button

Party Poker, 10/20

MP1 raises, all fold to Hero on button. Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I had been playing tight, MP1, SB and BB tight as well. Decide to just call. SB folds, BB calls.

Pot: 3bbs

Flop:

7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB checks, MP1 checks, I bet out, BB calls, MP1 2bets, I 3bet, BB reluctantly calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Check, Check, I bet out, BB waits a long time and calls, Hero calls after some deliberation as well

River: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, MP checks, Hero ____?

I'd check. There isn't a lot of hands that your opposition will call you down and loose. 99, TT, JJ, KQ but lots of hands that have you beat on both sides.

Check behind. I also would have checked behind on the turn. This hand will be a lot easier to play if you three bet preflop.

Yuck.

Seems like you hate money throughout this hand.

Raise preflop. What are you waiting for, aces? What do you want to have on the button to raise? AFK, because baby jesus needs to go cry after seeing no 3-bet preflop.

So MP1 check raises your ass on the flop. Whoops. Sure would have been nice to clarify where I was preflop huh?

Turn sucks the big one. But I suppose betting is OK. I think I'd check behind, but I'm a donk livin the life. Who is still in the hand that either didnt have you beat previously, or still doesnt have you beat?

River. Only worse card would have been 6s. Time to shut down the turbines. What worse hand would call there? KsTr?

Be right back, going to throw up.

3bet pf - the way you played it, I think betting the turn is correct (folding to a raise) and I would check the river behind (but I think it's close since if BB hit his straight I would expect him to bet out).

Nick,

If my game were only as fierce as your wit. I should have three bet, I should have checked the turn. All well and good.

No results?

I guess sometimes I post with too much edge. But really 3-betting here is so fundamental. This hand could have been 10 times easier to read based on preflop action.

All good.

River gets checked down. BB shows 9c, 9d, takes it down with a straight. MP player had KK.

How do you read MP1's hand differently if QQ reraised preflop? MP1 could call or cap (most likely cap); then check raise the flop like he originally did.

Would you think he had a hand like AK with a spade or an overpair? Would you lay down the Queens here? or try to make him fold his Kings?
