Sort of a newbie question
My general strategy in Omaha/8 is to bet evrything, I rarely slowplay, but it seems this would have been a chance to do so-
$3/$6 Omaha 8 I am in the SB SB- A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I raise and get 3 callers. Flop- K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Bet or check? |

Re: Sort of a newbie question
I would bet. If anyone is sitting on two pair or a set, I want to charge them to draw out. Ideally, I will be raised by someone holding another broadway straight and get alot of money in on a freeroll.
P.S. I would not raise that hand from the sb. |

Re: Sort of a newbie question
I agree. Push it.
Aside from a boat filling up, the worst thing that can happen is you take it down right there... Make 'em pay! Oh, and yeah, bad raise... |

Re: Sort of a newbie question
Thanks for the advice, I supect I have not fully transitioned my play from straight omaha to omaha/8 thus the pre-flop raise.
As you may have guessed from my tome I did bet and everyone folded. |
