Re: Who makes the best large-screen TV?
If you're looking fo a big screen plasma you should probably look into Phillips. As far as I know they are the best in that segment.
Hope this helps. |

fsuplayer has this one nailed. Sony's are very overpriced, too, if you didn't know. Mits dominate. Anybody who works in hi-fi will tell you the same.

Thank you fsuplayer.
What is your feeling on widescreen. Do you think it makes for better viewing? |

Re: Who makes the best large-screen TV?
i dont know a bunch of details of widescreen vs. regular (if there are many), but I sure like the look of the widescreen better myself. most of the best tv's are widescreens, so that should make up your mind pretty easily.
best of luck and keep us posted. i am jealous! |

Mitsubishi. All of their TVs are upgradeable, so you never get left behind. Also has super high ratings in customer satisfaction and consumer quality.

What is your feeling on widescreen. [/ QUOTE ] If you watch DVDs get a widescreen. If you get HDTV get a widescreen If you don't watch or plan to watch DVDs or HDTV you can consider not going widescreen. But it seems silly to me not to go widescreen. |
