I always wondered, is Limp Biscuit a variant on 'Soggy Biscuit'?

It's Limp BIZKIT!

And basically they suck now - Fred Durst got too caught up in being an MTV celebrity or soemthing. "3 Dollar Bill Y'all" was a freakin awesome CD, and pretty much everything they did after that sucked.

Reality Check: Limp Bizkit was never good. I like that genre of music, they just sucked at it. Mostly through Fred Durst's lyrical genius.

what's that song that goes "I'll skin you ass raw, I come at you with a chainsaw. if you keep talkin that sh*t, you'll be leavin' with a fat lip." etc. just say no people.

Are you trying to tell me that these aren't good lyrics?

It's all about the he said she said bullsh*t
I think you better quit lettin' sh*t slip
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip
It's all about the he said she said bullsh*t
I think you better quit talkin' that sh*t

It's just one of those days
Feelin' like a freight train
First one to complain
Leaves with a blood stain
Damn right I'm a maniac
You better watch your back
Cuz I'm f***in' up your program
And if you're stuck up
You just lucked up
Next in line to get f***ed up
Your best bet is to stay away motherf***er!
It's just one of those days!

[/ QUOTE ]

The music in this song is even better. The entire thing is like one note.

Please people, it's spelled Limp Bizkit - we wouldn't want to deny their creative spelling genius.

I remember seeing these guys opening for Faith No More a long time ago. The guitar players looked all gothed out and was wearing a corset, and the lead singer spent a lot of time encouraging the audience to give him the finger. I was like "who the [censored] are these clowns?"

A couple months later radio and MTV had them in heavy rotation, covering a george michael song

I'm very glad that they've finally fallen off the radar (and that I don't watch mtv any more).

The best thing about the end of the 90s was the Beginning of the End for Goatee Metal. I don't like wackass emo haircuts and faux sympathique prettyboys doing highkicks and whining about their non-existent san diego girl problems in videos where they have deer antlers or whatever, but hey, at least it's not MORANMOSHMETAL.

Two equations:
Whinemo > Poor Crackerapping (but it's close)
Goth + Hiphop = No.

5-7 years ago every 15-24 year old was singing there praise and now they are no where to be found. I was never really a fan and Fred Durst was a tool but it is funny how big they where and they seemed to crash so fast.
Although they did rock Woodstock that one year.

There's only so long you can constantly chugga-chugga an open E chord and sing lyrics aimed towards the intellectual level of a retarded 12-year-old before people inevitably start to get bored.

Wow, talk about a major talent difference on one stage. One of the worst popular metal bands of all time opening for one of the best. That must've been interesting.
