Reraise turn? His minraise preflop and then minraise on the turn makes it really likely that he likes his hand.

You need to make him pay on the turn. Assuming he has an ace, a river 5, A or heart kills your hand (or if he doesn't have a higher heart prevents you from getting paid off anyway). That's 11 cards. Punish him.

Headsup and in position I like to bet this flop. As played, in the heat of battle I probably fold the river with a 9 high 4-flush and paired board.

The turn made my hand but it also paired the board and there was sill the possibility of a bigger flush. This is why I played it passively - check and calling it down. The river was a "bet pot button" bet which could mean a lot of things but is *rarely* a monster (though sometimes it is).

Was I wrong to see monsters under the bed?

playing it passively gives you no information. 3 bet the turn. if he has a boat or higher flush he'll let you know

Would you believe that villain had AA and I was drawing dead after the turn?

Well, that was one of the monsters I feared. Even though he played it terribly...
