Default flopped a monster...now what?? (PLO8)

I flopped quads (8888)... did I do the right thing flop, turn, river??? sucks that I couldnt bring more money into the pot

Flop: The only hand that will give you any action with that flop is 9/9 and thats not a hand many will play.

Turn: That flop bet was too weak, you cant be sure he will bet again, you have to jam.

River: Have to jam since you have the nut high.

Very Well played.


Its very rare for someone to pay off quads. They either have to make top full house or they have to believe you are bluffing, but most people wont believe you are bluffing if there are 5 players in a pot.

You flopped a monster, but not a money maker. You arent going to get payed off often with this hand, but you can certainly give away 1/2 the pot with it. I think you played it fine ... although I might have lead at the flop for a small bet. (dont want to let all backdoor low draws in, might mask my hand)

Played it fine. Best thing to hope for was 99 or 2 players going for the same low to help juice the pot on the river
