are there any good books on race horse investing?

It is not an easy game. I have been playing the horses for a looooong time, and have played them professionally.

My suggestion is unless you want to get very deeply involved, and spend a lot of time, you're better off just going and betting for fun, and choose some other form for "investment."

I assume he's talking about actually investing in the horses themselves, not wagering on them.

Yeah, your probably right. Sorry.
But I don't think it's such a redhot investment idea that way either, and I have been in the horse business as a bloodstock agent. Most owners lose their a$$es.

Yes i was looking into investing in them. I know under the irs tax code you could use them as a depreciation expense and wanted to do more research.
