"Orange Julius" is a actually a chain of fast food restaurants that specializing in these sort of drinks and I always assumed that it was a trademark. [/ QUOTE ] It is a trademark, and they're still pretty common in the midwest. They're owned by Dairy Queen, and most of the newer ones are OJ/DQ combinations. I don't know what the deal is with Vegas. Strawberry and Peach regular Julii always vie for my attention, but if you get the chance to get Blackberry, don't miss it. I had one in Omaha in August '99 and have been pining for more ever since.

Interesting. I didn't realize they were so many of them still - it makes a lot more sense now that I know they are owned by DQ.
It still feels wierd to order a julius from a nearly naked cocktail waitress at mandalay bay, though.

While I am not rebutting the statement, I will have to look into this before I could support it to be true myself in posts. 3000 calories is very hard to fit in that glass. Don't the big Jamba Juice's only have ~800 calories and Big Mac's are what? ~550-750?
