Why did I spend so much time looking at that one...maybe it was the earlier Connect 4 thread. Hasn't red already won (bottom right going diagonally)?

Dude, I noticed it immediately as well.

This fact does not make me lame though.

the fact that I am lame makes me lame.

imagine a script kiddie hacking a site and in their fervor to type a message saying they own the website, they go to type the o and hit the p instead.

then it kinda became cool.

I always thought it was lame myself.

There's a reason you always thought it was lame, that reason is it is lame. The pictures however are hilarious.

I didn't know this, but it's kind of funny:

"1. pwned
A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."

Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."

It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.
"Man, I rock at my job, but I still got a bad evaluation. I was pwned."

OR

"That team totally pwned us."

I should have known Warcraft was responsible.

EDIT-
I still love every Warcraft game. Sure, three was kind of disappointing, but still pretty good.
Still, Starcraft remains the pinnacle, IMNSHO.

I stand corrected then.
