Kerry Fundraiser Tournament (Park Slope)

Someone on Craigslist NY listed a $20 buy in NLH tournament in park slope for this sunday. Unlimited rebuys the 1st hour, half the pot is donated to moveon.org, the other half is split among the top 3 finishers. My girlfriend (yes she plays, I'll probably be posting a question I have about a heads up hand with her later) and I are going to go if the poster responds to my emails. Anyone else into it or happen to know details?

Here ill give you some details: moveon.org is a website supported by socailist like george soros, These people Definately don't need your money (he has 8 billion dollars or so, and personally bankrupted argentina and has played huge roles in other economic clapses of other south american countries), and it is interesting how a website that supports socialism could also support a poker tourtament were the weak are eliminated and the strong survive. Half way through do they decide that everyones just gonna get half there buyin back (the other half going to there site of course) so everything seems equal.

This site has also ran ads comparing the president to hitler. This is an insult to all survivors of WW2 and the holocaust. To campare a war for freedom of the iraqi people to hitlers persecution of "inferior" races, destruction of europe, and the elmination of the europe jewish population is a utter disgrace.
I beg everyone within the poker community to stand against moveon.org, this tourt and there ideology.

I hate to get into a politial discussion on an apolitical website, but your inaccuracies are just too glaring.
First of all, it is blatantly untrue that MoveOn "ran ads comparing the president to hitler." That just didn't happen. Someone submitted an ad to MoveOn that did make that awful and unfair comparison, and MoveOn immediately pulled the ad from their website and apologized for placing it on their website. It never got CLOSE to being "ran" on TV by MoveOn.
Second, calling MoveOn a "socialist" organization is a typical right wing scare tactic that is not based in fact. Show me where MoveOn supports socialism? Give me the cite?

And, as to the John Kerry "destroys his credibility on his own"... well, that little cherry on top of your thread moved me to contribute an extra few bucks to the DNC. Thanks, really.
