Default Is SSHE the right book to be reading for No Limit tournies

I bought SSHE and enjoyed it very much. Although I didn't really research before buying it that it mainly refers to Limit Hold Em(obviously there are chapters that refer to Holdem in general). I generally play No Limit STT's and was wondering what books are most beneficial for No Limit...especially tournies. Cheers

Well, short answer. If you were looking specifically for STT NL advice, SSH is obv terrible.

HoH is a very good tournament NL book, but doesn't have too much specific advice for STT. It's a must-read though IMO.

Referring to veltzen's advice:

I haven't read it, but have heard (did Mason review it?) from others that it's terrible.

Buy CPL&NLHE, and keep it by your toilet. It's a good book to read on while on it and then you don't need toilet paper.

Lol, but back to the orginal question: I have spent many hours reading and studying SSH and I think it will improve your NL game. I play low limit poker online and play NL cash games with my friends. While significantly improving my online game, SSH has also helped my NL game by teaching me to analyze flops better, understanding correct odds and playing against loose oppenents.
While you definitely can't solely rely on SSH for NL strategy, I think with a solid understanding of NL play SSH will help sharpen your skills.

Laughing my ass off at all the donkeys criticising Cloutier's book. I would love to see their major tournament record.

He doesn't play the way he teaches in the book. I've moaned over that in many of these threads, if Cloutier wrote a book about how to play NLHE tournies the way he himself plays it would be golden, even with his rambling writing.
