best non-poker poker books

i have been reading Code of the 5 rings a book writen by a Japanes sword master that deals with statagy. I talks about studying other arts to learn your art better. Just wondering if anyone has come across any non-poker books that have led them to a deeper understanding of poker. One that has helped me is Reminices (sp) of a stock operator, gave me a better view of swings and Code of the 5 rings in general study habits.

Sounds like you talking about Musashi's "A Book of Five Rings"

Jenna Jameson's autobiography definitely helped me.

Funny you would mention it. I keep hearing about the book Blink, which deals with the decision process, and wondering if it's applicable to poker. In a nutshell, the book seems to suggest that our subconscious does a very good job of collecting and sorting information, and in many aspects decisions that are made quickly are more accurate than those that are pondered. Another interesting finding was that doctors who considered only four key pieces of information had a much higher rate of successful diagnosis than those who muddied the waters with lots and lots of data. The book suggests that experience and training were key, but that very often our first instinct is best.

Anyway, I've not read the book yet, but I heard the guy intereviewed on the radio today, and it's made me want to read it.
