Default Overcalling with AA

Canterbury 8/16 9 handed
I have not been at the table long. UTG+1 is a complete and utter LAGtard monkey. He's gotta be 70/50/2. He sometimes raises blind. He is a crzy gambooooling Asian dude, and now he is a bit drunk. UTG+2 I don't know anything about, but he looks like a crazy gamboooooling Asian dude too, and his pf play hints at this.

I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG. UTG+1 3-bets, UTG+2 cold-calls 3 bets, everyone else goes away and I make it 4 bets. UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 now becomes random cap guy and caps it at 5 bets, we both call.

Flop 3 ways:
Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I bet, both call.

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet, both call.

River (12BB): 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 cold calls 2 bets, wtf do i do here? is it close either way?

I dont think its close at all Bob. You must call the river against this type of opponent. Im sure you already knew that so your asking is it close between calling and 3 betting. It actually is. But I would take the conservative route on this one and just call. There are still 3 spades out there and lagtards do get hands once in a while. If you do 3bet you'll have to call a 4 bet, and thats a situation I'd rather avoid.

I love gamboooling asian dudes!!! Why did I ever leave Vancouver? It's too bad you couldn't drink in casinos up there.

I'd just call on the river and actually be a little bit scared that someone just hit two pair or a set on me. That's what my experience with the gambooooling asian dudes tells me, but my endeavors were never against one who was also drunk.

I will be very amused if he has 72. I think 3 betting here would be overplaying your hand, but only a little.

Yea for once I agree with everyone on this post. I think death donkeys comment is kinda funny lol. I think that there is a large variety of random hands that might have gotten here against you but overcallign is the best play... even though i'm sure your not supposed to like it. He could have KK one spade, ace queen etc etc... I'm more realistically afraid of maybe smaller spades, a set, eight seven but yea the pot is big enough you have to call unless you get some incredible read or extra info at the end. PS Poker bob i always follow your posts cause your lil avatar makes me laugh every time i see it. -Andrew
