Stupid call-reraising

Call reraiser (button) is a 14/9 and isn't doing this without either a very strong hand or a strong draw. He's definitely doing it for value either way. Other villian (HJ) is more donkish at 25/3 but that's over a small sample so it's hard to tell.

UTG+1 limps, HJ limps, button limps, I complete in the SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], BB checks.

Flop is 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

It's checked to the HJ who bets, button calls, I checkraise, others fold, HJ calls, and button now 3bets. Both HJ and I just call.


Turn is a 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I would play this hand exactly the way you did. I like your turn bet alot here since if the Button has that big draw he will take the free card. He is a conservative player so he probably realizes that he will never win this pot with a turn bet.

I would also like to point out that the Button is much more likely to be on a big draw than a big hand IMO since if he had a straight or a set of 99's he may not slow play them on this board.

the call, reraise here is likely a big draw as most made hands on the flop will be trying to protect. and made hands stronger than yours would've likely raised preflop.
