Early in a $5.00 + $0.50 SnG on PS. No reads from villain.

Thats not a bad beat...On only 1 street did hero ever have the best hand. 95% of the chips went into the pot when hero was beat...everytime someone posts a losing hand does not mean its a "bad beat post" per se.

Hero loses his stack no matter how he plays it and fires up another.

Check-calling flop is OK. I like leading better since you could easily be raised with the Ace out there and the chances of scaring everyone out are almost nonexistent.

Why didn't you bet on the flop, or raise when you got action from only one player?

I probably would have gotten all my chips in the pot earlier and lost them quicker. But, if everytime I flop a straight, someone else puts all their chips in the pot, I'll happily call. I'm confident I'll be way ahead in the long run.
