NYC booze prices
So, since there hasn't been a booze thread on OOT in a week.
Last night at a birthday party I was drinking Grey Goose dirty martinis all night. I had two at Revival, and it was $10 and poorly made. Revival was crowded, so we went over to King's Head on 14th, where they were made well but were $12 bucks a pop. After 6 of those and $70 out of my wallet we headed over to Nevada smiths cause the ladies wanted to dance. The dirty grey martinis were ONLY $8 and they were the best made out of all three bars. Irish bartender really knew his [censored]. Some discrepancies man. I only was able to drink like 3 more, I wished I hadnt drank so many at kings head. whats the most you ever paid for a drink? |

Re: NYC booze prices
$40 for a glass of Henessy Paradis. I ordered a regular X.O. cognac and the bartender recommended the Paradis, with the warning "it's a bit pricey." I figured he meant it was around 17 bucks a glass, and said "Yeah, sure, gimme that."
