Default Texas/Detroit

TEX -127
DET

Rangers -127 (Rogers 6-2 1.69 ERA) (29-20 .592)
Tigers (Maroth 4-4 4.53 ERA) (23-25 .479)

Am I missing anything or isn't taking the Rangers a pretty solid play?

Rangers seem to be an extremely solid play here. The things I look at (winning %, starters, offense and bullpens) all point strongly to Texas except bullpen. There are those that claim Rogers is a fluke with much weaker underlying numbers. And he is an enigma. His underlying number don't suggest his era or whip or winning %. Maroth in small sample versus the Texas lineup has yeilded an OPS of over 1.000.

This Texas team is hotter than nails right now though and until Rogers stops getting people out you gotta figue he will continue getting people out. -127 is a nice price for them as I figure a fair value would be in the -180 to -200 range.

Good luck!
