Default Golota Brewster

Alright, I don't claim to be some great boxing handicpper, but riddle me this:

Golota -260
Brewster +200

Brewster's record is 31-2, 27 KO's
Golota is 38-5-1, 31 KO's

Win %
Brewster: .939
Golota: .883

Brewster has a better win percentage, yet he pays 2-1 being listed at +200? Shouldn't this be a good bet on Brewster to win?

Handicaping fights based on W/L records is not advisable as the two opponents fighting will not have faced the same opponents. You would be comparing W/L with out knowing the quality of a fighters record.

Different quality of opps. Golota's losses include to Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe twice. The other was to John Ruiz who is no bum either. Brewster's two losses are to Clifford Etienne and Charles Shufford . He was also damn lucky to win his last fight v. Kali Meehan who is a very mediocre fighter.
