Default \"High Stakes Poker\"

DN mentions this at the very end of his latest blog entry. This looks like one of the biggest NL games I've ever heard about -- anyone know who will be carrying the series, how many episodes, etc.? If done right, this has the potential to be one of the best televised poker events ever. Can you imagine these guys clashing for $2M pots??

This show looks to be crazy! I will want to watch this more than any show out there. I wonder if it's anyone who can put up the cash can play?

GSN will be airing the show mid-January. I think the huyin is at 100k, and I'm sure there's some limit on who'll be invited to play.

DN also said in his blog that he's planning on buying in for $1 million in a game with 300-600 blinds. That's a stack of 1600 big blinds and he said he expects a couple other players to do the same.

That's crazy playing NLHE with stacks that huge against the best players in the world. How the hell do you play middle set against an aggressive player with stacks like that? Should be entertaining to watch on TV.

Thanks. I bookmarked the homepage of this link. How do you think this site stacks up against other sites (pokerpages.com, cardplayer.com thisisthenuts.com) for quick poker news? For example, just found the Foxwood expansion story. That's good news.

If they are playing with such deep stacks, we'll never see the all-in fests that we've all love

Rick, I'd throw in www.pokernews.com as well. Has at least 3-4 new articles every day.
