All the Wynn games have no cap. He needs to do this more often. The game gets ultra good and he throws around tons of money. Plus he actually showed up to the Wynn being the ambasador(sp?) to the poker room and all.

It's sad he doesn't even know the 1-2 game was changed to 1-3.

The wynn's 1/2 nl changed to 1/3nl? When did that happen? If true, did it make the games a little looser than the rockies like it has been?

I won a nice pot with the Q-10 of clubs. The flop came 10-7c 3c and I checked to the player on my left who bet 200. I made it $75,000 to go and he called for his last few thousand.

funny.

A few months ago. It was discussed in great length on here several times.

In my opinion that journal entry made him look like a nit.

"Look at me... I'm filthy rich and can buy into a baby no limit game for $125k!"

Good for you.

Yeah I agree. (Unless I took him for a couple of grand.) I am a big fan of Daniel, but it would turn me off to him and the Wynn if I were sitting at the table with my little $300 stack and one of the best players in the world plops down next to me with over $100 grand, sending me all-in every hand. Eventually he would bust me, and I'd have to go play nickel video poker with the wife.

It was an amusing post but very nitty. This makes me wish that NL game had a cap so you don't have a table captain turn into a table bully.

I think its a smart move for him to play in that game for the following reasons:

-Help him practice against the calibre of people he will be seeing at most of the tournaments he plays in.
-Good self-promotion
-Good promotion for the Wynn.

With that being said I think it is a terrible idea for him to buy in for $125k. All this is looking to do is create ill-will, and it certainly isn't going to give him any experience in playing better.

He should have bought in for about however much the deepest stack player at the table had, and played accordinly.
