I think that you can fold the flop. Even if you improve you can't play you hand with confidence so your implied odds are low.

88 is very tough to play early, folding is probably best. If you're going to try then raising is the way to go, limping is awful.

I think you can safely fold the flop.

How about, raising the turn and representing a monster? It could easily look like AJ, QQ, 99. This is very player dependant, if the guy can make a fold I'd try it since you probably have 6 outs.

To all of you who are saying fold preflop, no, no, and no. For as long as I've been on the mid-high forums, it's always been standard to open-raise 77+ from UTG.

I wonder how much I am giving up by not playing these hands from EP? Any links to old threads would be appreciated. While we're at it, what should I do with KQo UTG?
